We have an explicit target of over 25% or more of our dollars and our total number of investments going to founders from underrepresented backgrounds.

Rationale

We could show you the data on why diverse teams outperform, but the reality is that this is a goal for us is because backing founders from traditionally marginalized backgrounds is the right thing to do.

Syndicate

While we do not plan to set a quota or target for our fintech angel syndicate, we will also measure its composition quarterly (see our survey here) in order to continuously ensure representation and inclusion.
